An artist blessed with innumerable musical gifts, Eli Nissan, has been at the centre of Tel Aviv’s creative hub for well over two decades as DJ, musician and producer. Home to some of the underground dance industry’s most exciting talents, the native Israeli is the latest artist to emerge from a production line that includes the likes of Roy Rosenfeld Guy Mantzur, Khen and Guy J.

As guitarist for the fêted funk band, “Portrait”, Eli Nissan had already established a reputation as a polished performer inspired, in early years, by rock icons that included Jimmy Hendrix, Prince and Jimmy Page. A parallel interest in Motown, funk and disco, saw an incipient DJ career blossom, fused with the world of dance music as Frankie Knuckles, M.A.W ,Kenny Dope and David Morales flowed from Nissan’s artistic imagination behind the decks.

Early work signed to ALOLA, Addictive Records and Josecki’s Micasa Recordings, Nissan’s straight-up house helped pave the way for a shift in musical direction later. Taking a hiatus from the visible face of the electronic music industry in 2011, Nissan became a much sought after studio producer, working with some of the leading artists in the Israeli scene and creating numerous albums and projects en route.

However, the lure of the dance music industry proved too hard to resist and 2015 saw the return of Eli Nissan to the underground dance fraternity with DJ performances across his Tel Aviv hometown and a move back into the studio to work, once more, under his own name. Supported by close friends, Guy Mantzur, Sahar Z, Chicola and Khen, Nissan’s skill behind the decks in the techno/deep house genres, has quickly been translated into an array of impressive gigs. Appearances alongside the DJ glitterati that includes Guy J, Marc Romboy and Guy Mantzur, in front of audiences of 70,000 at “Gay Parade” and 100,000 beside Bedrock’s iconic, John Digweed, have seen a growing legion of fans witness the fruits of a lifelong dedication to Eli Nissan’s craft.

Furthermore, regular appearances at the legendary “The Cat & The Dog” “Bootleg “ “The Block” “Forum BS”  clubs in the Israeli capital, as well as a residency at the city’s über cool, “ARIA”, have helped catapult Nissan onto a global stage. Ibiza gigs for “Beach House” and pool parties for “Destino Pacha” in summer 2016 were followed by a performance at Amsterdam Dance Event for the “Movement Recordings Showcase” in October the same year, further paving the way for an upcoming South American tour of Argentina in May 2017 , Lost & Found ADE showcase oct 2017 , Aquarium Budapest , 2018 Tel Aviv local local clubs scene  as The Block , Under 52 , Jimmy Who , Residency at ARIA , Forum Beer Sheva + one of The biggest party in the Europe/ Middle East open air main stage at Tel Aviv gay parade official party ( inc 200,000 ppl  ) & more Malta, Moscow, Argentina 4 city’s tour along with Guy J & more...
