Biography

Brooklyn-based Catori works with sound both electronically and acoustically. Her performance style ranges from organic deep house to ambient meditation soundscapes. With childhood influences ranging from Latin, Rock, Reggae, and everything in-between, to her classical training in voice and violin, she draws inspiration from her rich cultural upbringing and international exploration to manifest stunning soundscapes always perfectly suited for the environment in her DJ sets and live performances.

Currently focusing her creative output in the studio, Catori hopes to release her debut EP on Bespoke Musik this summer. Over the years, Catori has found homes within the Bespoke Musik, PYNK & La Familia communities, and has been on the lineups for Minus Zero Festival, Elements Music and Arts Festival, Sonic Jungle, ZERO, Authentica, and has frequented Alborz, Bubbles and Bass, and Trifucta camps at Burning Man. She's shared the stage with talents such as Acid Pauli, Mira, Goldcap, Nico Stojan, Kora, and Brian Cid to name a few.

Catori means Spirit and is of Native American origin.
